Itinerary
Setting off from Glasgow, Edinburgh or Stirling, our first stop is Taste of Perthshire, where we can feed our much loved 'Highland Coos', and grab a coffee to go from the local cafe on site.
Driving through the Cairngorms national park, it is just under 2 hours to the Commando monument, with views of Britain's tallest mountain Ben Nevis in the background.
Only 30 mins away is the highlight of the day, Glenfinnan Viaduct. It is our aim to arrive no later than the 12:20pm for the 1:20pm crossing of the Jacobite train
Dumbledore's Grave is a 20 min drive away. Sensible shoes are required, as the ground can be marshy and muddy.
Heading to Glencoe, we will drive through Fort William, known for its rugged climbs and nature walks.
Hagrid's Hut was but a prop, but it's location will be easily recognised by die hard fans worldwide.
As we drive through the iconic Glencoe Valley, we will stop at the 3 Sisters of Glencoe and the Meeting of the 3 Waters.
Next, we will pass through Rannoch Moor, the largest bog expanse in the UK, and one of its most desolate places. Rannoch Moor was featured in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1, when the death eaters stopped the Hogwarts express to board the train.
The beautiful village of Luss on the banks of Loch lomond is our final attraction of the day.
