Itinerary

Clachan bridge

Built in 1793 the bridge connects the West coast of Scotland mainland to the island of Seil and is fondly known 'As the bridge over the Atlantic'.

Kilmartin Glen and Museum

This is a immersive journey through 5,000 years of Scottish history, exploring one of Europe's richest prehistoric landscapes, featuring a linear cemetery of burial cairns, stone circles, rock art and standing stones, perfect for history buffs wanting to see Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments up close

Inveraray Castle and town

This is the ancestral home to the Clan chief of Clan Campbell, it is also referred to as the 'emerald Castle' for the green hue emulating from the stone that was used in its construction, The castle built in 1789 is very much a fairy tale castle, built as a statement of power as opposed to a more traditional defensive castle. Inveraray itself is a charming town with independent shops and cafes built in the Georgian period.

Kilchurn Castle

Dating back to the 1400's this castle now lies in ruins, it was built by the militaristic Campbells of Glen Orchy, surrounded by water on three sides it was a formidable fortress in its day.

St Conan's Kirk

Straight out of a 'fantasy novel' this is a stunning, eclectic church on Loch Awe, Scotland, famous for its unique mix of architectural styles (Gothic, Romanesque, Celtic and Norman). This is an A Listed historic building and a delight to explore.
