Overview
Iona Abbey is known as the 'craddle of Christinanity' in Scotland, as it was the site where St Columba arrived from Ireland and establised a monastery in AD 563, bringing Christianity to Scotland. Our 2-day 'pilgrimage' will take us through stunning Highland scenery, ancient castles, coastal villages and iconic historical sites.

Day 1
Pickup from Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Stirling at 09:30 am.
Luss, Loch Lomond
The beautiful village of Luss, nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, is a wonderful quaint conservation village, voted by some as 'the most beautiful village in Scotland'.
Loch Tulla
In our tour into the Highlands, we will stop at this famous viewpoint for amazing photos of the Highlands below.
Rannoch Moor
We will resume our journey north, as we drive through Rannoch Moor, the largest bog expanse in the UK. These unique landscapes have been used in many films, most notably in the Harry Potter movies.
Three Sisters of Glencoe
Moving on, we will head on to the legendary Glencoe valley and mountain range, where we will stop over at the most photographed place in Scotland - the ‘3 sisters’ viewpoint. As we move on, your guide will be able to tell you the story of the MacDonald Massacre that happened in this valley in the 17th century.
Castle Stalker
Featured in Monty Python and The Holy Grail as 'Castle of Aaargh', this photogenic castle dates back to 1320.
Oban
We will finally arrive at Oban. This picturesque west coast port is affectionately known as the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland'. From here, we will get the ferry to Mull.
Tobermory
Upon arriving in Mull, a 30 min coastal drive will take us to the charming town of Tobermory, where we will spend the night.
Day 2
Pickup from your accommodation at 9:00am
Duart Castle
This beautiful castle dating back to the 13th century is the ancestral home of Clan Maclean.
Iona Abbey and nunnery
We will then go to Fionnphort, where we will get the passenger ferry to Iona, where you will have 90 mins to explore the Abbey and quaint village.
Craignure
Back in Mull, we will drive to Craignure to get the ferry to the Scottish mainland. This little village has some local cafes, pubs and a chocolatier shop to browse as we wait to board.
Tyndrum
Arriving in Oban, we will make our to Tyndrum. If you're hungry, we can stop over at the award winning 'Real Food Cafe', serving the best fish 'n' chips in the Highlands, with Vegan, Halal and Gluten free options.
We will then drop you off back at your accommodation at the end of the tour.

British cars are smaller than our American counterparts, please be aware of this when booking for 4 adults.
Our website takes a deposit of £240 with the balance payable to the guide on the fist day of the tour (cash/card).
In the event of the Ferry being cancelled due to bad weather, alternative routes or attractions will be offered. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Cancellation Policy
No cancellation fee is applicable, if made at least 14 days in advance of the scheduled departure.
If a Customer cancels between 13 and 3 days of the scheduled departure, a 50 per cent cancellation fee applies to the deposit.
If a Customer cancels within 48 hours of the tour departure time, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee applicable to the deposit.
